We do creative, lifestyle, photojournalistic and yes….traditional portraits. Let me take a minute to explain why professional photography is so much different than your department store photography such as Walmart, Sears, JC Penneys and those like this. The “Studios” are very generic. The term studio is used loosely as you are placed in a small room that has the standard backdrops and fixed lighting. The camera is preset and operated by an employee that has been trained more in sales techniques than photography. Your photo session will be quick and impersonal. The employees taking your photo are usually paid minimum wage or maybe just a little more. Chances are, if you go back you will never see the same person as these jobs have a high turnover rate.
If you choose to visit our studio (you can see pics if you scroll down to older posts here), you will see and experience something completely different. Our studio has 25 foot ceilings and a 42 foot seamless white backdrop hanging from the ceiling. Our lighting can be moved quickly and easily to give different effects and to show off or minimize your best assets. You WILL move around, just as the photographer will move around. We take them time to get to know your personality so that your photos reflect you or your children/family! Your photographers do this for a living and our livelihood depends on your being happy with your shoot! Give us a try….you won’t be disappointed! Visit our website at http://www.204studiosphoto.com.
Here’s a little bit of tradition with a slight twist of personality showing through. This boy was not pleased at having to spend his afternoon with his grandparents having photos done. In spite of his displeasure, he had fun!
